EN "Truth Over Magnitude" (T.O.M.) is the third studio album by Austrian pop singer Conchita Wurst, now taking on the role of WURST, her male entity, released on October 25, 2019, by Sony Music Entertainment. With a more electronic style, leaving behind the symphonic side of the previous project, this project promises to expose the more relaxed and fervent side of the artist, addressing themes such as love, acceptance, evolution, the true journey of the artist until then.

The album featured multiple singles and the lead single was the track “Trash All The Glam”, with a futuristic and hypnotic melody, which embraced us with its soft beat and the spectacular vocals of the artist. The second single, “Hit Me”, which is one of my favorite tracks of the project, turns out to be a kind of statement and at the same time a response, that is, it served as a message to a previous boyfriend who was threatening him to expose that he suffered from HIV, and then the singer chose to disclose this information and leave this song to all other people that were going through the same. The third single “See Me Now” is a kind of thank you and farewell, to whoever continues to do what has ceased to make him happy. Because the artist is moving forward with his life, whether the person wants to remain in his life or not, it can be a kind of symbolism for the “Conchita” that was and the “Tom” that came. “To The Beat” is the fourth single, an energetic electro/pop song, with a lyric that says that even if they put him on the ground, block his path and hurt him, he will continue to move forward, dance to the beat, never allowing them to destroy him. The fifth single was the track "Forward", holding a heavy falsetto, is an addictive and captivating song, possessing one of the best and most beautiful melodies of the album, with a lyric that also refers to moving forward and leaving behind the problems of the past. Finally, the sixth and final single, “Under the Gun”, is another of my favorite tracks of the project, being the most danceable track, having been written in a magnificent way, as the singer has accustomed us throughout the project, with the ability to provide an excellent live performance.

WURST's new album may not appeal to all musicians and fans, but the former Eurovision member is not here to make noise and release records that try to attract and please the masses. Instead, Tom Neuwirth prefers the truth to magnitude and humbly discovers the current state of his soul through T.O.M., and “Truth Over Magnitude" subtly conveys a message of self-love and respect, where there are songs that have vocals that convey emotion and drama, power, and hope.

"Truth Over Magnitude" is the debut of Wurst and the third studio album by Tom Neuwirth and the first release in this more electronic genre. A continuation of the excellent album of the same name (“Conchita”) and Conchita's phenomenal collaboration with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra - “From Vienna With Love", being more than a worthy successor, revealing itself as the most personal release so far.
