EN "You'll Find Me at the End of the World” is a book written by Nicolas Barreau, a pseudonym of the author, a Franco-German, son of a German mother and a French father, who studied literature, worked in a bookshop in Paris and wrote several books in French and German. The original title of this book is “Du findest mich am Ende de Welt” published on July 1, 2010, and later edited by Quinta Essência in 2013.

Jean-Luc Champollion is a successful man in both professional and love fields. In addition to being the owner of a gallery in Paris, a lover of art, culture and all these goods that feed the soul, Jean-Luc is much appreciated by women. He is a very charming, sensitive man who cannot resist the charms of women and they do not resist him. His best companion is Cézanne, a Dalmatian who gives him a harmonious life in his house, located in a good neighborhood in Paris.

However, Jean-Luc's life takes a huge turnaround when he receives a very passionate love letter that leaves him completely starstrucked. The problem is that the letter is not signed, only being signed by Principessa, which makes Jean-Luc more interested in discovering the mystery behind it. The author's intention is for him to try to find out who she is, without ever revealing it. Despite being suspicious and confused, he then begins an exchange of letters and emails with the mysterious sender, feeling quite provoked and, at the same time, excited to be meeting someone who seems to know so much about him, about his habits and routines and supposedly never met him before. Or has Jean-Luc ever been in this woman's presence? The story is enthralling, comic and capable of catching us with this enigmatic admirer who throughout the book gives scattered clues to our heartthrob, without ever making us lose interest in discovering who is behind the love letter.

What struck me the most in this story was the fact that Jean-Luc thought he could wrap this admirer up with easy words and then make her reveal herself sooner, but that didn't happen. In fact, the opposite happened, Principessa managed to turn him around and make him respect her in a different way than what happened with other women. Which in the end made him fall truly in love and find her at the end of the world.

The book is quite small, with some predictable parts, but it is easy to read and it is still a story that entertains us, not only for the romance but also for the mystery surrounding the Principessa. Despite recommending the book, and trying not to belittling the writing, I admit that I was hoping for a little more content and characters development.
